GOOD LUCK!
We want all the details! |
Good Luck! Hope everything goes well for you. :)

Thank you! It's an hour until go time!! YAY!
*deep breaths* It's kinda scary, the girls I know are all in one house... we are all from the same school... and so yeah... i'm not nervous about that house.... it's the other houses I'm getting anxious about!! THANKS! |
So you will find out tomorow where you have a bid for or where you are invtied for additional parties?
I get confused easily. Chris |
Ok! I just got home from the events tonight! I think I did pretty well! Tonight was just to get us acquainted with the sororities and their purposes, etc. They aren't doing the 'cutting process' so everyone is invited back for a COB party tomorrow night. Each house has a party at a set time... allowing us to go to all the houses.
My 1st impressions of the houses: I like farm animals so don't be offended when you read this! :) The Sheep: These girls were amazing. They were all so friendly, and wanted to tell me everything about their sorority that was allowed. They made it so easy to talk to them, and explained certain things. They also asked me why I was there, and what I wanted from a sorority. This house really made me feel at home! The Cows: These girls were really sweet. My greeter was sooo sweet, she introduced me to several girls. She also told me about their philanthropies. I felt somewhat comfortable there, until the girl kept talking about how 'when they 1st pledged, we made fun of them' or some of the jokes that she had done to some of her pledge sisters. The Chickens: My greeter here read my paper thoroughly(she asked specific questions from it). She was on the nervous side, and really wasn't telling me much about anything, and didn't bother to get someone else to tell me... So, I guess, I'll have to read the pamphlet. The Pigs: These girls were very.... crazy. The few that I got to talk to were really nice, but they're were a few that just had a 'snooty' attitude about them. They told me everything about their sorority that they could think of. Tomorrow night, after 10pm (when the last party is over), we get phone calls from the sororities wanting to extend a bid to us! So, I will know something tomorrow night. They all seemed to be very interested in me, soooo who knows! (There were only 14 girls going through) |
good luck tomorrow! It sounds like you had a lot of fun today.
just curious, what sororities are on your campus? |
We have:
Gamma Phi Beta Alpha Phi Chi Omega Kappa Delta |
gosh, i hope that you get the phone call you are hoping for! incidently, your names for the sororities cracked me up!! best wishes!

I was trying to come up with something that couldn't be easily detected!! Plus, I was watching some show on tv, and they were talking about cows (Maybe it was the Chik-fil-A commercial!!) I love their food!! Yeah.... anyway... I can't wait for tonight! I thought I was going to be super nervous last night... but after the 1st house... it was a piece of cake! My greeters were the nervous ones!! But they were so sweet!
We had to stand outside in 30 degree windy weather last night... doing the whole rush 5 minute knock thing at the door... so I am really feelin' it today!! YUCK! I hope it's gone by 6!! |
Good luck! It sounds like a new home will be yours soon! :D
|
Oooh, how exciting! Best of luck to you.
And farm animals are definitely the most original naming system I've ever seen. One of my sisters is obsessed with sheep, so it made me laugh. |
Good luck to you! :)
(And those were the cutest, funniest names I've ever seen applied to houses on this forum) |
Sounds like you had a lot of fun! Good luck with the next round! We're all rooting for you :)
|
Good luck lil princess!!
can't wait to hear what's next!! |
