Our Alpha Deuteron chapter at Monmouth University is alive and well, although it has closed during it's history. (Hence the deuteron.) I believe it was during the late 1800's when Monmouth eliminated Greek life.

i don't think Hunter got rid of greek life, its just not crazily popular there. DPhiE only shut down there a couple of years ago. one of the locals on my campus is starting a chapter there and i think there may be a couple of multicultural/ethnic glo's.

As for AEPhi there is no more Alpha Chapter because Barnard got rid of greek life a couple of years after AEPhi was founded. And it won't ever return because Barnard women pledge sororities through Columbia chapters. :-(

Barnard College is part of Columbia University, and if AEPhi were to establish a chapter there, it could be known as the Alpha chapter.

The1calledTKE 01-04-2004 03:57 PM

TKE's Alpha is still up and running. :)

Our Gamma chapter is Columbia so I am guessing a Columbia Chapter would be Gamma. Yeah, Barnard is a part of Columbia but they keep a pretty distinct identity.

Our Alpha Chapter is active at Vincennes University
