Happy 2004 everyone! I hope that those who partied got home safely. My party was ok though lots of people didn't show up. Five guys tried to pick me up....all but one had sleazy pick-up lines (e.g. "I think I know you from somewhere....."). Ick. What's with guys and cheesy pick-up lines, anyway?

This is the worst new years ever. First, in the Safeway (grocery store) parking lot I accidentally BABY SCRAPE the car next to me. Then they get out and ask for my insurance information...I didnt have it with me or I couldnt find it, so I told them that. Then, they conned me into giving them a 70 dollar check. Then I call my dad (who wasn't answering at that time) and he says that I didnt have to do anything, and the cops wouldnt have done anything too. So now I have to go cancel the check immediately when the bank opens on friday. THEN, after seeing my sorority sister from USC, going to an awful party with UGLY guys and eating dinner, I get pulled over. The cop LUCKILY tells me that he's not going to give me a ticket, but apparently I was going 60 in a 35 zone (even though I wwas only going 50). THEN at midnight, the guys that were supposed to come over don't show. So we're left alone and dateless, drinking by ourselves. What a fun night. Oh well, some guy is coming over now. I hope hes hot.
This makes yet another WEIRD and bad New Years. It seems like every new years that I'm with these friends it's weird. Last year one of them got kissed by this gross really short guy, and I broke up with a guy....but atleast I got a kiss at New Years. No...wait...actually we broke up like 5 minutes before New Years....so I had no one to kiss. Lovely. What a fun night.
