I always advise visitors to NYC to take in the Forbes Museum, at Fifth & Twelfth. It's [b]free[/i] and has the largest collection of Faberge Eggs available anywhere - plus lots of other toys & collections.
Strawberry Fields is a tribute to John Lennon in Central Park, near the Dakota Building where he lived & died. It's at 72nd & Central Park West. And leave some time to shop. You'll just hate yourself if you don't bring back something from one cute little shop or another! :) |
If you want to satisfy your sweet tooth in NYC, I recommend you go to Venieros on 11th between 1st and 2nd. It is a bakery and cafe that has delicious cakes, pastries and beverages. If you go there, have a slice of Windmill cake and/or a cup of decaf mochaccino for me. I'll you the website below:
http://www.venierospastry.com John's Pizza on 44th and 8th has some of the best pizzas in the city. They also have pastas and sandwiches. However, it does get crowded in the early evening being that it is located near a lot Broadway theaters. It is worth the wait though. Nonfood suggestions, check out Grand Central Terminal. It is a gorgeous site to see. They have laser light shows that are so beautiful. I hope this helps! |
