I enjoyed the performance, but I would have liked to have seen some more awards, IMO.

I didn't see the whole 50 fiasco thank goodness. I love Outkast, I was loving Beyonce and I definitely noticed Mama Knowles chaperoning. LOL.

I thought the show was waaay too long.

Highlights: the intro (Prince), EWF (WOW!!), P-Funk, Celine's performance (after the technical difficulties), OUTKAST (:D), and Beyonce.

Lows: Christina's outfit for "Beautiful", 50 cent crashing Evanescense's moment (that was tacky AND ghetto) and the fact that they "uninvited" Janet, and Amy Lee's dress.

ETA: Justin had to apologize or else the Grammys would not let him perform. :rolleyes: And anyone who tried to address The Controversy was quickly shushed.. see the article in today's Washington Post..(www.washingtonpost.com).

All i have to say is that Beyonce toreeeeeeeee it up....She looked so pretty and sounded so good. I was not surprised that she decided to do something classical and smooth after all the fuss over Janet:rolleyes:. This was her big nite and she didn't want anything to get in the way.:D

Okay maybe it is just me, but I am highly upset that Justin was able to perform but Janet's services were no longer needed. Her B***B didn't come out on its own. I don't care if he apologized or not, (Janet has several times!), he still shouldn't have gotten to be on the show. I think it is a bunch of mess!

Nevertheless, I waited through that horrible drawn out show just to see Outkast. Well worth the wait! I was really happ they one the award. Beyonce did sing the mess out of that song.......BUT, I was like is she done..wait no..okay...wait...no.. ok for real this time. LOL!

I'm sure it had to do with the censorship of the show. She looked like she was suffocating between that outfit and the dead animal on her head.

I was LOL at Beyonce's mom sitting in between Jay Z and B. She was just scowling.

Felt really bad for Alicia Keys and Celion Dion because of the audio problems.

What in the hayle is he wearing?? He did not age very well either. Anna Mae Bullock, on the other hand, looks absolutely marvelous.

Ike Turner looks like a belated Christmas present wrapped up still under my wreath neighbor's tree. In other words, a fugging mess.
