Tell me what some of you think about this? How about one of those couples spa packages? Or how about one for her alone? She likes to be pampered.

SigKapKatzue 12-01-2003 11:41 PM

If you would enjoy it, the couples one would be great. After all you are both going to be using the sheets & comforter. :)

This is very true!!;) The spa thing would be awesome, I love to be pampered just as much as the next person. But I feel guilty for thinking of that, it'd be for me too.;)

Spa package, Dior shades, nice watch, all of those are excellent ideas. Dog is a good idea, but only IF she's specifically said she wants one and her apt can have one. Puppies are a lot of work.

I like the gift certs to her favorite stores idea too--you could package it up really cute, either wrap each in its own box, or do them in a basket with flowers or other small cute things... I think this one is very thoughtful, since you'd be showing her you know where she likes to shop...

What about a digital camera and photo printer?? Oh wait, that's my preferred gift this holiday season... ha ha

Mr. Amycat is taking me to Cabo for Christmas. I am taking Mr. Amycat to Cabo for Christmas. ha ha It works for us. We like the sun and warm beaches.

Heh, I'd take a trip to Alcupoco (sp?).

Spa package would do it for me. Think Ritz Carlton Amelia Island...hmmm, maybe I'll ask for that this year ;)

I think that no matter what you get her, obviously you're putting thought into it, and that's what matters....your consideration and caring are what's most important, and no matter what you do, you're going to give that to her. She's a lucky lady, and I think you've got some excellent ideas. The whole spa thing is a great idea....plan a spa day for her and then when she's feeling 100% take her out for a simple (yet special) night on the town...dinner out and maybe driving around looking at all the Christmas Lights (depending on where you live either in the car or walking around). I think that'd be a great idea! Good luck and keep us updated

If nothing else, this thread proves something I've felt for a long, long time:

I'm a very unusual girl. ;)

I'd personally go with Chanel shades over Dior. There's these pink Chanel ones that I want with the little C's on the side. But, we're talking about what she wants.... :)

Here's an idea. Bring her to a nice spa (maybe go back to West Palm or Miami...there's nicer ones there) and just spend the day together. Then, take her shopping at some nice SoFl mall. Hang out at the beach for a little while. And then take her somewhere nice for dinner. I think she'd like the idea of going back to South Florida for the day and just hanging out at all the nice places. I can definitely see her going for that. ;) (yes, GCers, I know Lady Cashmoney)

Definitely a great idea! Get her a half or full day at the spa, depending on how much you want to spend. Or get her the earrings for Christmas, and then do the couples spa package for Valentine's Day. My hubby and I had a couple's massage on our honeymoon and it was FABULOUS! Definitely something we would do again.

I would personally stay away from the puppy idea. Unless she has specifially mentioned to you that she wants one, it's a bad idea. Puppies are a lot of work. They need feeding, walking, practically24/7 love and attention, vet bills, etc. They're expensive and time consuming. This isn't something you should surprise her with.
Also, if you did get her a puppy I hope you get one from a reputable breeder and not a pet sotre. I say this because I have huge issues with pet stores. You don't know where they get their animals from. They could come from good breeders but they also might come from puppy mills. And those place are awful (to say the least), but I'm getting of track now.
Other than that I would have to agree with everyone else. prefume and jewlery are always safe bets if you really are lost for ideas.

I'll have to look at the Chanel shades next time I'm in the store, I never really paid attention to those.

I think the SoFl idea is good. She really likes Miami. Paul Van Dyk is coming to Miami this month to play at club Space ( Yes, I still like going to clubs like that every once in awhile) and she wants to go. I think I might take her down there 2 days in advance of the show and do the Spa, chillin on the beach, shopping and dinner thing. I could get her the shades while shopping with her and act like it wasn't planned:cool: That would just melt her little heart.;) She wouldn't stop kissing me for days..:D

Thank you everyone for the ideas....I'll keep you all posted.
