Anyone but Bush

Love_Spell_6 11-28-2003 10:28 AM

Still not sure

The Democrats have no solutions to offer..only complaints and gripes about the Bush administration..the need to come with something better than that to get my vote...

Bush has the upper hand in my book at this point

The funniest part is that this isn't even remotely true. The Bush administration just responds to ANYTHING a liberal candidate says with "You have no solutions, you're just bashing Bush." If you look at the individual candidates you'd see that most of them have a lot of decent ideas.

But that's why the Dems have to be careful how they treat Bush -- because if they don't handle the Bush-bashing right, all that Bush has to say is, "They don't have any ideas, they're only running because they hate me" and the majority of conservatives believe it.

sigtau305 11-29-2003 03:18 PM

either Dean or Clark.

GeekyPenguin 11-29-2003 04:36 PM

Well naturally, since I am from the second most Republican county in the nation, I'll be voting for Bushy.

OK just kidding. I felt like giving sugarandspice a heart attack today. I'm in the ABBOS club too.

Something about Howard Dean just rubs me the wrong way, I'm not sure what it is yet, but naturally I'll support him over our current "President." Right now I think I'm leaning towards Wesley Clark. I think he realistically has the best chance to stand up against Bush.

Well, I read that because Liz Dole is a Tri Delt, DDD International Women's Fraternity will be endorsing President Bush, and that all members of said organization are expected to vote for said president. That's what I read.

I'm voting for Bush, even if I have to vote on a butterfly ballot again ;)

Boy am I glad I'm not a Theta, or I'd be voting Republican for life with the men they marry! :p

As well known as Tri Delta is, I'm pretty sure they can't require all their members to vote for Bush. I know many Tri Deltas who will not be casting their vote for Bush in 2004. Also, I don't feel it's right for a greek organization to endorse one candidate national and expect their members to follow in their lead. One thing Greek Orgs. pride themselves on is diversity and having members with different views.

That's my two cents...
