I Love:
Myself- this wonderful person that God created. God- for all the wonderful things he does. My Grandmother's- eventhough they are gone, I know they are still with me. My Mommy- she is truly a blessing. My Daddy- I have to he pays my car note (it's good to know that I'm still his "little girl"). My Friends- we have experienced so much in life and there's more to come- I cannot wait. To smile- I'm just a happy person. To make others smile- I like seeing others happy. To laugh- it's good for the soul. My car- it mine and all mine. My job- I'm doing exactly what I want. My independence- I'm ready to face the world head on. To shop- I think it may be more of an obsession. To eat- I eat everything and gain nothing (Breyers Strawberry Ice Cream, Papa John's, I could go on and on....) My bed- especially after a long day at work. My man- he's my special, perfect one. My A-K-A, I Love it, I Love it, I Love it. Helping others- and being appreciated. Dogs and Cats- I can't wait to get my own. Life- living it to the fullest no matter how crazy it may be. |

God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit My wonderful Husband being with family hearing about my family's history or my people's (Black folks) in general talking to the elders being a Spelmanite hearing a good, doctrinally sound preached Word fresh sheets laughing out loud crying at movies good books daffidils (sp?) in spring large bodies of water (lakes, oceans, whatever!) being southern (yep, Black folks can be proud of their southern heritage too--it just usually means something different to us than to white people) being in the company of my sisters (blood, Christian, Spelman, black women in general) learning something new a good debate good food 'fun and frolics' on a Saturday morning making progress on my goals hugs from people I love or little children my Pastor rainbows HGTV home decorating shows vacations (especially car trips) making a difference in the life of someone else the rhythm and cadence of African American speech brothers handling their business Female Jazz vocalists like Dinah Washington, Nancy Wilson, Billie Holliday and Diane Shur (sp) Worshipping the Lord Snuggling Real Fireplaces (no gas logs for this sista!) The internet (and greekchat!!) http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/biggrin.gif to buy things for other people (I hate shopping for myself) seeing their eyes when they open the gift Leaving work early on a sunny Friday afternoon! Snow days! (still!!) suprise phone calls from good friends to talk and have people listen (EF Hutton syndrome!) the warm sun coupled with a cool breeze knowing that God is not through with me yet and no matter how much I mess up He will never leave me nor forsake me!!!
