good point...but is it the powers that be that are enslaving the folx that watch BET...or the folx themselves. Its put out there, just like lots of other garbage....but we all have the option to turn off the TV.

Because when it is a known fact that certain flashes of light in a specific colors that are timed and synchronized at a specific oscillation and frequency... When it is scientifically shown that the sounds can be mesmerizing and enhanced to activate the major neurological receptors involved in epilepsy--such as the cannabinoids, opiods and the NMDA receptors...

Then, if brainwashing, or at least adding to the level of addiction to TV is enhanced on BET, is it possible that some folks that do not contain the specific single nucleotide polymorphisms to fight against that addiction can be readily attracted to such a flagrant display called entertainment?

It is liken to those that get the adrenaline rush when they commit violence... Then one just has to watch it on TV without actually commiting the crime...

Well thats alot of interesting scientific jargon..but the fact remains that we all have the choice to watch what we choose. To answer your question....I watch TV and do have cable, but I do not choose to watch programming where black folx CHOOSE to denigrate and exploit themselves for cash. I do not watch BET and I make it a point to miss such programs as the SOURCE, MTV and VIBE awards.

You have spewed a lot of big words...but do you really and truly believe that people are watching these types of programming because of some type of brainwashing/hypnotic effect?? So I guess that's why folx watch porn too?? Cause BET is a step away from porn these days. I think all of those reasons are actually tools of incompetence that people use to excuse their reasoning for watching certain programs. Society has condoned and accepted all types of immoral and tragic behavior.... and what's seen on BET is only a symptom of the larger problems.
