I know.

Just found "desperate" to be funny. Never even considered being "desperate."

It's Tuesday. Call! Good luck.

you're absolutely right, it is a silly game. unfortunately, we singles are forced to play it.

The call me game does suck!

Although if you want to look at it on the glass-half-full side of things, telling me to call me gives me an out and probably tells him that I actually do like him if I call. If I don't call, he'll know I don't like him, end of story. Puts the ball in my court, so to speak.

Okay, way too much thinking on such a silly subject for me. I'll call him tonight when I get home from class. Honeychile, you're right, it's what i'd want him to do.

Thanks guys!

There is no rule, just call.

You know you want to smash anyway. ;)

Rudey 11-11-2003 12:32 PM

Yeah call him and let him know you're stalkerish and want to trap him in a relationship. Yeah he might want it but he'll love the fact that you're stuffing it down his throat and giving him no other option.

A couple of years ago, I went out with a group of friends for dinner and drinks. At the end of the night, a guy that I was interested in told me to give him a call "sometime." I called the next afternoon and was invited to his house for dinner that very night. I accepted the invitation, and we had a great time.

We got married a month ago.

Moral of the story: If the guy really likes you, then he won't care when you call. :)

There is a lot of wisdom here.

damn people....it doesnt matter when you call.

Look what happens to people who still belive "that rule" still exists about calling people too soon/too late ARE STILL SINGLE SO IT DOENST WORK OR MATTER!!

If you get the urge to call him then CALL HIM!

If you dont then someone else will.

MeLikey 11-11-2003 07:46 PM

IHeartMATT806-- I agree. If the guy likes you and you like him, it doesn't matter when you call. I'm not into playing games, I'll call whenever I want to-- most important thing is not to hold back if you like him.

This needs to be repeated over and over again. I certainly wasn't forced to play the "call me game" when I was single--except when I was in high school. If you like him, call. If you don't, don't. He'll probably respond in kind.

Does anyone think those rules really work? I'm living proof that they don't.

I hate the whole calling timing thing..

my boyfriend and i of four years recently broke up.. so i am getting back into the dating thing again.. its so confusing..

i def need advice in this area as well.. my situation is really wierd though with the guy i am "talking" to.. since i am not into dating anyone yet we are just talking.. so i guess i dont even know how things go with that..

it was so much easier when i thought everything was great..
