considering that i slept through the last two, and will have too work early again on new year's day, i will be doing nothing. it sucks having to work on new year's cause people are sleeping in. but at least i get paid time and a half:)

I will be ringing in the new year here at work (an ER)...probably with some snotty ass little kid sneezing on me while I'm simultaneously getting serenaded by some drunk and getting berated by some old lady about why she's been waiting so long. Yeah...:rolleyes:, bring on the good times.

Staying off the roads and away from the amateur drinker/drivers.

A bunch of my girlfriends are heading there december 27th for a week to party it up and celebrate :) I can't wait!

Hopefully having a quiet evening at home. Mr. BetaRose usually has to work on NYE and NYD, so, we don't do much.

Many years ago, I asked a guy I knew who was an alcoholic what his NYE plans were. He said he never, ever went out of NYE or St. Patrick's Day, since they were for amateurs.

It's been an early dinner out and cuddling at home ever since!

There will be a party somewhere for sure that i'll be at, as to where it's too soon to tell. I wont be kissing anyone though when the clock strikes 12...for a fact.

One thing I'm NOT gonna do is work.
I worked in a bar in NYE '99. It sucked; I got paid a lot of money (3 figure sum) but it was crappy watching everyone else having a good time. Woulda been better off staying @ home than that! :)

I am not sure what I will be doing on New Year's Eve, but I do know that I will be in Miami.
