You're right, of course. I can't see her as playing much of any other position in a D-1 program. It was pretty interesting that she made the team in a program like Colorado's, though.

Kickers not only have different builds, a lot of them are just plain different.

When HSU played either West Alabama or West Georgia (can't remember for sure!) we noticed that the kicker had a girl's first name, but seeing as how creative people get with names these days, we didn't think anything of it.

Until said player took off the helmet after the game an a ponytail came tumbling down......the name fit!!!

"Bunch of pansies."

They're pansies if they don't let her in the locker room.

Hey! As an athlete and a Tri Delta I resent that!! If a girl wants to play on the football team and is just a good as a guy, then she should go for it.

Cross Country/Track are not girls sports- I've done each since high school and cont in college. They take guts and dedication. I believe in today's society there should just be sports- not "guys sports" and "girls sports"

*esp* if they're as good as the boys -- using a girl on a team as a publicity stunt is bad for the team AND bad for the girl.

and Rudey, Deltas play serious football.
