I am not sure about that. We have external genitalia that gets long and hard. Who knows what it rubs against while sleeping?

ok I'll try to do some research and see if I can find out what causes it. I googled it but I keep getting porn sites. Stand by...

OK here's a response I got on a webpage from Dr. Lin of the Lin Institute. I have no idea how reliable it is.
"Yes, its an orgasm. Your dream triggers your pituitary to produce a burst of orgasm hormone Oxytocin in initiate the orgasmic contraction of your uterus. For men, we call it "wet dream" which causes ejaculation orgasm" |

Sometimes while I am sleeping, I get the feeling that I am fall off something and suddenly wake up in panic. There have been some occasions that I am sleeping and get the feeling that I am going down a spinning vortex. I wake up and my heart beats rapidly for about a minute. After these two instances, I try to go back to sleep although it is some difficult fall asleep immediately.

All these sleep stories made me think of something funny... my ex-boyfriend's roommate freshman year used to always wake up and pee right in the room... on the carpet, once in the toaster... I woke up in the middle of the night and woke my ex up and was like OMG, I think there's a leak! Then we looked and realized it was his roommate all drunk and peeing in the toaster... pretty nasty... his roommate also used to talk in his sleep, but we couldn't understand what he was saying, it didn't make sense, it was pretty funny.

lol. i just thought of something funny. when i was 13, i was watching my dad talk in his sleep. he was actually carrying on a conversation with someone in his dream. i couldnt take it anymore so i woke him up. he said that he was negotiating a contract with a pro wrestler. WTF?

Most people I know (including myself) have had the falling dream. It's the worse kind of dream (at least for me) because Icant fall right back to sleep. WHen Iwas younger I had adream about a flyin car and kidergarten...weird dream. |
Dreams...Dreams...Dreams....
I've had the falling dream where it feels like I've gone over a drop on a roller coaster.....then I jolt myself awake.
I've had the dream where someone in my family has died and I wake up crying...and then I have to convince myself they aren't really dead...and then I worry like hell about them all the next day. I've had the naked in front of others dream. I have this recurrent dream (especially when I'm stressed) that I'm running from someone who is chasing me. I'm always running and I never know who I'm running from. Sometimes I'll see their figures but never recognize their faces. I wake up gasping for air (like I've been running sprints)....then I realize I've either had my face in my pillow or I've actually been holding my breath. I also have a recurrent dream of being attacked by someone....and no matter what I do I can't fight them off. One time I woke myself up yelling "HELP" I wake up really pissed off sometimes but I have no idea why. I also have dreams of me flying by flapping my arms. I always fly above the trees (but not too far above) and can look down on where I live. |
Yeah I've had a flying dream too!!! It was the best dream ever--I don't think I had to flap my arms though--I just soared through the air, pretty cool.

in my human sexual behavior class, my prof. just happen to mention that women who wake up with orgasms are not very common. hey hannah, we are among the rare girls!
i hate waking up from naps and having a mind that's lost. i have been up for 20 min. from a 1 hour nap, and i am still disoriented. |
Sleep Disorders...
The falling dream state is thought to occur when there are environmental stressors or drugs interactions in the brain...
The running dreams have something to do with a "nervousness habit"... There is this homeopathic remedy that I heard about, but I do not know its name--I think it is melatonin D??? The recurrent nightmares are something else... Night terrors are nightmares one has no idea why they are scared. This person usually will vocalize his or her fright in a form of a shriek... Spirally may be a vestibular issue or an inner ear problem... Insomnia is another issue... Some correction can be done by modifying the light exposure within the room. It should be as minimal light as possible with the most about a "fresh air" available. And it should be somewhat cool because it has been shown that people like to cover up or swaddle. Snoring may be a eating/drinking issue. Such as eating too late or drinking too much alcohol... Besides, one ought to minimize his or her caffiene intact if there are sleep problems. Such as do not drink coffee 4-5 hours before bed. Drink a soothing drink, like milk that has tryptophan in it that can put one to sleep... If one cannot drink milk, drink water... And sound needs to be what is called "white noise" such as a "fan whirr" or "motorized low decibeled hum". If one cannot handle that, it is better to not have any sound at all... And sleep times should be consistent. Wild dreaming might be a result of not having consistent sleep and waking times... Like some folks have different body clocks--like chemistries are different--so wouldn't one think that the sleep and awake patterns would be the same... Good night... ZZZZZZ |
I know I've had my share of weird dreams. Sometimes I would write down the dreams as much as I would remember to maybe hoping that someday it will help me become a writer of some sort.
I've had the dreams where I'm flying, running away from something bad but it's all in slow motion. Those are the only kinds of recurring dreams I had. I once had a dream of someone getting tortured. I guess I screamed in the night for a little bit because my dad came in and asked if everything was okay. One of my friends scared the daylights out of me that according to this culture, having those kidns of dreams reflect the past of what might have happened at the very land my house was built on. |
