Hootie - I got a book (called I Taught Myself How to Crochet! lame.), 5 hooks, place markers, and some other thing that I don't know what it does. They came in a package that I bought at a craft store. It was $10 for all that, but the book doesn't explain things very well, so I usually end up going online and googling whichever stitch i'm trying to do and get some clarification from there.

Learning how to crochet, for me, was a hands-on process. I had someone put the needles in my hand and guide me...It's so hard to learn visuals from a book until you get the needle positioning and stitches correct...

I knew a guy who used to box with chimpanzees in cages for a hobby. He said they would punch with all four appendages. I guess it is illegal now, but he used to do it for fun.

Hats are super easy to crochet... my bro and his wife are expecting a baby, and I just made a little red hat with a little brown stem and green leaf at the top for them... it looks like an apple (the sis-in-law is a teacher... apple for a teacher? I'm lame, I know.)

LOL ! Well I think it sounds cute :) My gramma actually crocheted my sister and i both matching hats and scarves to go with our peacoats we wear ....well my peacoat and her leather jacket :)

There's this new guy I like. But, I can't relate to him because all he talks about are the Cubs, Bulls, and The Matrix. :mad: So I guess those will become my new hobbies.

I guess bowling too, because that's all chapter wants do. :rolleyes:

at least he isnt like me. i feel sorry for any girl who ever tries to date me cuz i like the matrix, star wars, AND lord of the rings.
