I've gone by Olivia, Angeline, and Katherine. For my last name I give some composer's last name, like Bach, Chopin, or Mendelssohn. Olivia Mendelssohn..paging Olivia Mendelssohn. One time I had "someone" paged in Wal-Mart and gave the name as an Arabic obscenity. While I'm sure no one else caught it or understood it, I was laughing inside. :)

When you use fake names I think it's necessary to include the racial trinity-white, black, and asian.

I rarely ever give a guy my fake name when I'm out, but if he's super sketchy, I'll just slip and say Melissa... my parents were going to name me that, so that's why.

This is so appropriate!!! This past weekend my girlfriends and I went to Vegas for my birthday-whoo hoo! We decided that we should have a theme for all of our fake names and decided on the names Ruby (me), Sapphire, Diamond, Emerald, Pearl, Jade and Turquoise. We actually convinced groups of guys that we all became friends because we had something in common through our names. We even acted like we were making up fake names for the night by using our real names (if that makes any sense). One of the guys totally got into it and decided his name was "Cliff" for the night! So funny!
