Thanks for sharing such good news with your sisters.

Violets!! So good to see you posting!! It's been a busy year all around, hasn't it?

I'm always sorry to hear that someone else has gone through the worry etc of skin cancer, but I'm SO glad that you've gotten the "all clear" too!!

violets 09-30-2003 08:43 PM

Thank you honeychile. Yes I'm always glad I'm in "the clear" but every summer I have to explain to people why I never, ever have a tan. Small price really. And yes, this year has been chock full of family commitments. That's why I love coming to GC, it's such a different place, where people show so much enthusiasm for their organizations and for Greek Life in general. I find GC a pretty positive place, which is something I value. And of course the ADPi board is by far my favorite! :)

This is kind of ADPi-Random, so I thought I would just post it here:

I got my first Adelphean !!!! Yippee!!!!

It's great!:)

ETA: My chapter is also mentioned in it!!! On pg. 38 it talks a little bit about our trip to the Ronald McDonald House, and our sister who competed in the Miss Texas pagent!

ADPi-Jen 10-02-2003 09:10 PM

The adelphean is awesome, isn't it! I anxiously await each one to see whats happening with my sisters. Oh how I wish it was monthly....

Hey guys...just a quick favor to ask of everyone....I'm in a Greek Bible Study w/ some of the sororities on campus here at UNO and one of the girls has been in the hospital for the last week. The doctors still don't know what's wrong w/ her, and in my history, when it takes this long to find out what's wrong, it's never good. So, if any of you are religious...or even if you aren't, please pray for her....we need all the support that we can get! I'll keep you updated with any new news that comes up! Thanks in advance!

I'll definitely have her in my prayers... I hope everything's ok...

:) $175 saved!

Also, I get to meet the ladies of Upsilon and Alpha Theta in two weeks-- I am spending the weekend at their campuses for a couple of ADPi events!I can't wait to meet the two chapters and the area alumnae! Go Washington ADPi's! :)

honeychile 10-06-2003 09:55 PM

Prayers to your friend, UNLADPI, sincerely.

Way to go, texas*princess!!

Adpiucf, that's wonderful about winning the waiver!! Have you ever been to Washington State before? It's beautiful!! I do wish I had been able to stop in at UoW's house when I was in Seattle so much, but never got a chance to do so. Lucky you!!
