I wouldn't want to be with someone who was a strip club regular, but once in a while (boys' night, bachelor parties, etc) is alright. They just have to remember the zoo rules: NO PETTING.

Seriously, though, I'd agree with Leslie (and most everyone else on this thread). Once in a while is okay, but when it's getting to be a regular occurance (like it interferes with him watching his sports or eating his dinner) that's where I'd draw the line.

I agree...For a while, my husband was an inventory control manager for a very large car dealership in Irving (Dallas), and the vendors, wholesalers & note lot guys liked to treat him to lunch at least once a week. Invariably, they took him to The Men's Club or The Lodge...I was a little disturbed at first, but got over it. After a few times, he talked them into going different places. I guess going every week was ruining it for him.... Anyway, he watches the Sopranos every week...I don't see much difference (OK, its only little clips of nudes here & there)...now, if they were taking him to a place like Legends (in Arlington--full nudity/BYOB dump with trashy girls), I would be seriously concerned.

Once in a while wouldn't be a problem to me. If it became a steady habit, I'd be gone.

Once in a while is ok...but if it becomes a habit it is a problem. Plus if they are really happy with who they are with then they really don't want to go.

There is serious truth in the words that ignorance is bliss. Strip clubs and the like are an entirely different medium I think. Doesn't matter if you're into a steady relationship or not.

Eh, I don't care. I'm secure enough in my relationship not to really give a rat's azz if my boy decides to go to a strip club once in a while. It would be surprising, however, because that's really not his bag. My sisters and I went to see a male stripper once, and when I told him about it, we laughed about it for a while ('cause the stripper was THAT bad).

Most male strippers are just kinda embarassing.

Yeah I agree with just about everyone else...It's ok to go every now and then. I used to date a guy who had a serious problem with it and he would go every opportunity he got and he would stare at half naked women on T.V as if he were at the strip club and that is very embarrassing if you have friends over.

I would never date a guy who went to strip clubs for the hell of it unless I would be able to go with him. The idea of a beautiful girl showing off her body and making MY MAN happy isnt really somthing I feel all warm and fuzzy about.

As for dating/getting married to a man who went weekly or quite often I would ABSOLUTY NOT alllow this AT ALL. There is no need for him to waste his time and money and cause me worry if I can do the same thing for him in the privacy of our own home.

The idea of my man going to a strip club is totally off limits in my relationships!
