Honeychile, we have two GreekChatters with similar names; Moxie (who is a DZ pledge at LSU) and MoxieGirl (who should be honeymooning). Did you maybe see Moxie logged on?

Ok so I finally heard from my friend, and she said that tonight was good, but cuts from 4 to two are going to be rough! (And no, UPittGalie is not my friend, she said that she didn't want to post here till after she knows what house she's in)


Orange : She liked these girls a LOT better today, which was awesome, because she had been looking forward to this house!

Teal : She loves these girls, absolutely could see herself here. Had great conversations here, found out that a lot of girls she knows belong to this house.

Red : She loves these girls too, she's had really good conversations here, but feels that the one thing that's kind of a bad thing is that she doesn't know anyone in this house outside of recruitment. I told her not to think about that too much and I hope she decides for herself.

Green These girls impressed her a LOT today, she said that while she ranked them high yesterday she was unsure. Today they showed her a lot and she likes them tons.

Lime Was not impressed with them at all today. She realized that she would not fit in here.

Coral She likes these girls a LOT more today, loved their skit, but still does not feel totally comfortable here.

Blue She could tell the sisterhood was not totally there today and that kind of was a warning sign to her. She was kind of uncomfortable here.

Purple: She loved these girls so much today and said that she really hoped to come back here for four rounds.

So she ranked:

and then the houses she already cut:
Pink
Aqua
Brown

I just got a phone call btwn parties and she got invited back to

Purple
Teal
Coral
Blue

which meant she got cut from Red and Green but she said that she was kind of glad because it made her decision easier in the long run.

I always thought that I would want a pitt recruitment thread, but this makes me nervous reading it, I can't wait for an update! It looks like your friend is having a great experience!

How were the returns tonight?

On the light side, I was talking to my mom earlier, and explaining some of the Green Book rules. She is now totally convinced that the NPC should be planning any military campaigns, instead of generals! :)

My roommate didn't have much of an update, she said they had a ton of great girls today, seems like a few more dropped. Which all-around sucks for everyone, but she seemed pretty happy with how today went.

Agreed, kddani. I was surprised to hear that Quota was set yesterday, before anyone knew how many women would return today.

I'm just so sick of the greek life at Pitt just being in such a stagnant phase. Very little has changed since I pledged 4 years ago. There are so many things that aren't done the right way. And being an "outsider" now (as in being an alumna), I see the big picture and compare our school to other schools and it's just sad. There's so much potential :(

I'm glad to hear things are going well for everyone! Wow, I didn't think it was possible but from the sound of things, Pitt's Panhell might be more screwed up than Bethany's. :( Hopefully things continue to go well for all of the houses.

*covering head* honeychile: Yes, that might have been me on last night. We are not leaving for our honeymoon until tomorrow morning. The wedding was WONDERFUL! I could not have asked for better weather, friends, family, or husband. :) I'll rest easier on the beach knowing the Pitt girls are doing well. :p Love you all & good luck!
