I think that is SO sweet, when the housemother becomes a sister! The last housemother my chapter was initiated - she was a housemother for something like 30 years!

Our chapter has a Mother/Daughter banquet near Mother's Day each May, and girls give their mother's pins then. Thats when I gave my mom hers a couple years ago. She absolutely LOVES it, and now, since my sister joins, she is already asking if she gets another one or not. :)
