Yes, she's been married twice. But hey, that's still less than my grandmother. :p I don't know why, but "Bennifer" makes me ill...maybe it's just because the media is saturated with tales about them. I would like to have her big pink diamond, though. ;)

Yeah, buuuuuut...the home will need repairs, the car will depreciate, and the clothes will wear out--but the diamond will last forever (or at least a while longer than the other stuff)! :D

I can't stand J-ho b/c she has made a mockery of the insitute of marriage. I believe marrige is holy, a gift from God and not to be entired into lightly. Of course she isn't the only one, which is why I hate Elizabeth Taylor too. You've been married 9 times, hell maybe its you! I also think J-Lo is very selfish but I don't know her personally of course. I don't think the marriage will last anyway so who cares if its postponed.

Yeah her first marriage to Ojani Noa lasted less than a year. Same thing with Cris Judd. So who knows what will happen with Ben.

I don't hate J. Lo. I like Ben Affleck. I'll be willing to be his rebound when they divorce. ;)

and if that don't last, there's always P.Diddy to give her Money so she can buy a new one.

Look acting is a job just like being a lawyer or a waitress is a job. MOST actors do it because they LOVE to act, not because they want to be famous. Becoming incredibly famous is an albatross to many actors, as it does not allow them to live a normal life. And they are, by and large, just people like you and I.

Because they do what they love they deserve to have one of the most important days of their lives turn into a circus? HELL NO.

Now I believe JLo courts the media more than your average performer, but that's not the issue here.

The media is out of control.

Amy
issue hits closer to home than I want to admit.

You mean one of the THREE most important days of her life . . . ;)

They aren't going to be able to get away from the media, and in fact, they're probably wasting more energy trying to escape the media than they would if they just agreed to pose for a couple pictures and be done with it.

And as for the media being out of control -- if there wasn't the demand for it, they wouldn't be. We have nobody to blame for this but ourselves.

I have a hard time feeling sorry for them - they are more than compensated for their "troubles"

but since i dont like jewerly very much (i am not a normal girl), it will work for me. the repairs for the home can still be paid for with that ring!:D

Yes I agree. 1. JLo brings it on herself. 2. If it was ME, I would have my photog release a handful of hand picked photos, and hopefully, that would keep it at bay.

I know plenty of celebs who've been able to keep their weddings, births of children out of the media, because they do not make a habit of courting it.

Even Jen and Brad's wedding was much less a circus than this, because 1. they don't court the media like JLo and 2. they had photg release a pic, thereby satisfying their appetites somewhat.
