Question Hootie.

Did Artcarved and Herf Jones merge a few years ago -- or am I still halucinating from the 60's.

I know their products back then looked very much alike and, for some reason, I think that one purchased the other, and still honors the warranties, etc.

You know Delt, I'm not sure. I have delt with Artcarved for 4 years now, but they've always been ArtCarved...I've never seen a memo or noticed that they were merging with some other company (and vice versa). If I hear something I'll let ya know! :)

i bought a ring, it has my letters engraved under the stone. i never wear it anymore but i used to all the time.

Girls rings are ok because they're small and understated. Guy rings look like walnuts on your knuckle. If you wear a highschool ring that basically indicates to me that you couldn't even graduate from a 2 year college.

Since my former boyfriend lost my high school ring (*sniff*), I think I'm gonna get a college one...of course, it's gotta have DZ on it. :)

I don't have a college ring and don't want one. I did receive a DFE ring which was an extremely nice Christmas gift from my mother. I have a HS ring which I stopped wearing. I remember when I bought it, I was told that they could change it and put your college name on it. I forget what brand that is.

If you want a college ring KR, I say go for it! :) Make yourself happy.

I have a college ring and I love it. Mine is all white gold with the school crest. This is my second one because the first ring I got was white gold with a black onyx encrusted with the crest, but the stone came out and they sent me a new all metal ring for no additional cost.

I didn't get a college ring or a high school ring. I don't like wearing rings at all. I don't even wear an engagement ring, although I will wear my wedding band when the time comes (410 days and counting)

My college ring is a plain wide gold band with the Seal of the University of Texas on the top. I really like it a lot. I also have a little ring that has a longhorn head of diamonds on it. That one was made into a ring from a stick pin!!
