My Letters (LOL)

My Education level

My goals - I think my parents have high expecations for me because they know I have more drive than they did...well and more opprotunities than they did.

A FEW social views vary from my father.

Everyone says I look just like my mother but I don't see it. My sister on the other hand is the spitting image of my mom when she was younger.

interesting question

I take more risks than they do (though I am still more cautious than most of my friends my age, 22),

I am much more of a "spender" than they ever were (though I am pretty responsible- never ran a credit card debt),

I am more socially inclined (neither of them would EVER have had any interest in joining a Greek org in college),

And I'm capable of drinking a lot more- I could drink either of them under the table.

My mom has black hair, olive skin, and green eyes. I inherited my dad's features I have blonde hair blue eyes and fair skin.

I'm the first in my family to go to college.

I think I am more liberal than my parents.
They're crazy and weird, but I am probably normal
My dad is an irrational stubborn creature (not easily reasoned with), I am a rational creature.
They're Jewish, I follow a more spiritual and natural path (not a religious one)
They claim they have good hand writing, but they think that mine is awful (I'll be the judge of that)
I am probably more open-minded than they are
I drink slightly more than they do
I am a member of a sorority, my mom and dad aren't

My mom's got freckles and red hair and one blue and one green eye.

I've got darker skin, dirty blonde hair, and dark brown eyes.

My mom is (though I love her) very negative.

I always try to be positive.

Mom's a worry wort.

I don't worry about much.

That pisses my mom off, and amuses me.

lol.

My mom likes guilt trips. I like revenge!

Wow this is kind of scary but as I was reading through this thread trying to decide how my parents and i are different I really couldn't come up with a whole lot! My parents are more like two of my very best friends nowadays.

However, I'm greek, they're not. My mom is from a totally different country and they don't have sororities/fraternities where she went to college. She really didn't even know what one WAS until I joined one. :)

I am MUCH more social than my father. He has very few friends he likes to spend time with. I am a social butterfly. ;)

My mom is really good at math and at making jewelry (she has her own business) and I suck majorly at both of those things.

Other than that though, we're really very similar. Same political/religious views, etc. Pretty cool.

They're a lot older than me.

Like Kiki... my parents and I are pretty similar.

I look exactly like my mom.

How are we different....

I graduated high school and went to college.... they did not.

I joined a sorority... my parents weren't aware of Greek Life.

I'm more conservative, politically and socially.

I'm less outgoing than my dad.

I'm more into fashion and style than my mom.

I'm religious(ish) - they are not.

Although I look like her, I am much taller than my mother. I am also far more laid back and have a greater sense of humor than she does. I got my sense of humor from my dad.

Unfortunately, not genetics.

Not real proud I am related to those folx. Theres just soem peeps who shouldnt have bred. Dotn get me wrong, I am glad I am here, they just had no idea what the hell they were doing and are the parents we all see and say to ourselves, "They shouldnt have kids"

I share nothing with my parents. Its taken me and my siblings years of therapy to fix their mistakes.

Munchkin03 09-03-2003 07:18 PM

Like Kiki and Ginger said, there's just not much. I had to grab at straws for these, even:

1,500 miles.

I like big cities, they like small towns. As a result, I live in a big city. They live in a small town.

Politically we're about the same, although I might be a little more left of center about some things. But not many.

I'm Greek (so is my sister), and they are not. They simply came of age during a time when it wasn't "cool" to be Greek.
