David Stollman, who is the facilitator, works a lot on informal recruitment. Although I have only seen David once he impressed me tremendously with the ideas he has on recruitment. I would encourage you to visit the Campuspeak website(http://www.campuspeak.com/) and contact him.

I would love to sponsor someone from my collegiate chapter to go to this. Only thing is we don't do formal rush, so I don't know how applicable it would be... but I think I will write a letter to my collegiate chapter and see if anyone wants to go next year!

I think the strategies might work pretty well for you guys. David Stollman advocates COB/informal rush over formal, so he most of the tips and strategies he has are geared toward non-formal rushing.

David Stollman, who does the non-Tri Delta version of RBC, has done a workshop with our chapter and he is really inspiring and nowhere near as dry as you might think. He definitely has a grasp on what the future of the Greek system looks like and what we as Greeks need to do to change that.

As for the Tri Delt RBC, our rush chair went to it and came back with some really great ideas for recruitment . . . but I don't know that much about it other than what she's told us. I know that one of the other GC Tri Delts attended it, so maybe she can chime in, though.

That would be me!!!!

I thought it was a VERY well run and informative session. The seminar was mainly about informal recruitment, with just a little session on formal, since David Stollman and many others believe that as we evolve as sororites, there will be less and less emphasis on formal recruitment.

There wasn't anything about 25% increase, but he gave many practical ways for chapters to rasie numbers, with quality and not just quantity members.

I would HIGHLY recommend ANYONE to go- even if your chapter has no problem with recruitment.
