AXO is definitely getting another look. That's just something about me. I can't make up my mind right away. I might end up loving it!

I don't think I will be attending anymore COB events at the moment. Gamma Phi Beta I believe is done, Alpha Phi has pretty much said they won't take anymore this semester, and Alpha Delta Pi hasn't called.....hmm...:) I'm a patient person! Good things come to those who wait.

Pardon the lack of knowledge on my apart, but COB at USC equates to the chapters calling specific people to come to events? The only reason I ask is because I've only had experience where we had an event and we would put general announcements up everywhere around campus....any woman who was interested in checking out COR was welcome to come to our events!

I wish it was more like that. The deal is you call the office of Greek life and ask if COB is taking place. If yes, then the person takes your info and emails it to all of the sororities participating in COB. It is then up to the sororities to contact the PNM.

Or, if you have a friend invite you, that works too.

At SC, there really isn't a great deal of advertising. Most sororities meet quota or come extremely close.

The closet thing I got to an annoucement was a mass email last year sent out to those who rushed and didn't pledge.

And as for the tie, all I've got to say is that at least it was that. Apparently, we were outplayed beyond belief. But let's save that discussion for another message board. ;)

I haven't recieved a call back from AXO. I wouldn't mind going to another event, but I'm not too heartbroken that I'm not. I will have to wait until rush next year or possibly at semester when some sororities do go through COB.
