Maybe a better comparison would be the DU incident vs. the rape committed by Christian Peter or Lawernce Phillips beating the shit out of his girlfriend and dragging her down the stairs by her hair.

Couldn't make the link work, so I'll just ask the question. I remember the allegations, but were either of the two tried and convicted? If not, Max, you'd better go back and edit in "reportedly" and "allegedly" above. If they weren't convicted, you're slandering them. If they were, you're OK, but I might use a little different language.

Moving on, as many of you know, I used to Executive Produce and/or direct University of Colorado football games -- back in the days of the Big Eight. I really enjoyed working with all of the Athletic Departments -- except Nebraska. There was an arrogance there that ranged from the AD down to the lowest member of the team. They were great football teams -- but pretty much jerks to work with.

Now, having said that, I really like the university, and Lincoln as a town. It was just the attitude that turned me off.
