. . . you have an ivy comforter that so does NOT match your rock-n-roll room (but who the heck cares because it has ivy on it!), personalized license plates that say "LV A PHI1", and when you buy soap just because there is ivy on the packaging, then you are definitely an a-phi. :)

Last year they debuted the "Lily of the Valley" scent. Well, despite Mr. 1228's objections (too flowery). I had to get it (besides I am the one who does laundry!)

When you order your new furniture and pick out "bordeaux" colored couches... and when the saleslady recommends accenting the room with green, you immediately decide on an ivy plant. :p

When a friend gives you silver and bordeaux nail polish as a belated new member gift and you start to tear up a little bit. :)

(Last week my nails were silver. This week they're bordeaux.)

I knew I was an Alpha Phi when my 15-year old sister started MAP-ping at her school and made her AIM name "futurealphaphi." As soon as I joined (2001), I had her wearing "An Alpha Phi loves me..." shirts. Turns out, the Vice Principal of her elementary school is a sister from UVA. :p

...when you photoshop the words "Future Alpha Phi" across your little 4 year old cousin's chest in a picture of the two of you together.

...when you have lengthy discussions with your sisters about how your daughters will be best friends and Little Dippers together.

...when you get a little emotional when your very Greek-clueless best friend declares that Alpha Phi is his favourite sorority!

...when you squeal with glee in the middle of Aritzia, uncaring of all the curious glances you're attracting, when you see limited edition bordeaux TnA yoga pants with silver trim ON SALE (TnA is never on sale) - and then grab all four pairs left, sit yourself down on one of their comfy couches and call all your sisters to ask if they want them!

When you are shopping for a wedding gift at Linens and Things and you have your jaw drop to the floor when you see the perfect card

The sister you sent it to calls you in tears because she is so touched

When you admittedly have too many RED DRESSES in your closet!
