When I said "strong minority presence", that was just my way of saying (in sugar coated form) that the Republicans are trying to influence the minority vote. I remember the last election and what upset me the most was what I saw as blatant disregard for minority voters. It seemed as if the Republicans knew they were going to win, and were not attempting to sway us at all. I think they learned a hard lesson: that our vote does matter -- we do vote (although more of us should!).
But, I'm still deciding; the performance will not sway me either. I remember the Reagan/Bush era, and I do not want to go back. I want to know what is Bush planning on doing differently than his father? Apparently we were not happy with him. We could've done without Clinton's drama, but his personal life aside, I think he did an excellent job as President. Unfortunately, I haven't been impressed with Gore either, which is why I am indecisive. Where's Ross Perot when we need him?! http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/wink.gif ------------------ >>>"Many women do noble things, but you surpass them all."
