Our bid day shirt was long sleeve with butterflies on it. The front said ZTA bid day 2002 and on the back it said come to where the skies are bluer and the friendships are truer! :D

My bid day shirt had a butterfly on it and it said around it on the back "It's not what you've become but what you've always been"

Bid Day t-shirt sayings
Hey, I'm from the Kappa Eta chapter at Rockhurst University. We have spring rush, and I need some cute sayings for our bid day tees!!
Thanks, Jessica |
Just ideas that I have seen, not sure how I like some of them but they are ideas
"Rush (recruitment) made us sisters, Love made us friends" "If your going to be greek, you might as well be a goddess" "Queen for a Day; Crowned for Life" "Some may have the attitude, but few have the Letters to back it up; ZTA Bid Day 2002" When I was a Junior our shirts were just like regular Block letter shirts and had "Bid Day 1998" stiched under the letters in Silver. The Shirts were blue and the letters white (The new members shirts were grey the letters were white and the stiching was blue) |
Also do a search in this forum and the Rush forum for other ideas. This has been discussed a lot over the years!

The shirt I got this year said:
ZETA A few good women and Zeta got 'em all |
I saw this at Greek 101 and I just loved it:
Jealousy is a sickness. Get well soon. And then somewhere else on the shirt you could have Bid Day or something else. Very funny. |
This is a favorite of mine...
Any one can wear letters, but only Zetas can wear a Crown! Good luck with Recruitment!!! ZLAM, Meredith \^^^/ |
Here are some that I have seen around my campus for diffrent Bid Day shirts:
Do you ever wake up and wonder if you joined the right sorority? We don't! It's not easy being a princess but we make it look good. Star light, Star bright I got the wish I wished last night. Zeta Tau Alpha Bid Day 2002 Zeta Tau Alpha "Only the best get crowned" Zeta... it isn't for everybody but that is the beauty of it. This is the place, These are the Days, These are the girls, This is the time of your life. Zeta Tau Alpha Bid Day 2002 |
We had a mardi gras theme for bid day this year. We wore blue and silver beads and made a float for the new members to ride to the lodge on. Our shirts had ZTA on the front and the back had a mosaic of a crown and said "Unmasking the future of Zeta Tau Alpha, Bid Day 2002!" I think that bid day shirt is my favorite Zeta shirt yet! I love it!

our new girls got the cutest pink shirts that said on the back
"On this perfect day, I became a ZTA" |
Ours were cute. They said "Pledge your Loyalty to Royalty!"

I just saw some cute ideas at Zeta Day last Saturday...
Front: ZTA & Co. Back: Introducing Our Newest Collection, Spring 2003 Bid Day ~ WiIth a Tiffany Box (of course it had the turqouise colors like Tiffany boxes!) ZTA and the City (written in hot pink on a black t-shirt) But I think this had to be my favorite!!! Front: Zeta Tau Alpha ~ on puppet strings (like the Godfather movie title) Back: "They made me do it!" Bid Day.... Unfortunately, I missed out on the chance on buying any of them since I had to set up. :( |
Our Bid-Day shirts from this year said, Front: In the upper left corner ZTA angels, Back: Zeta Tau Alpha Filled With Angels but One Hell of A Sorority
|
Here are some of my favorite Bid Day/Recruitment shirts:
"Some girls come to college to find their husbands...We came to find our bridesmaids." "Sometimes its worth the wait, but sometimes its worth the rush" "Royalty never looked so good" Thought ZETA, Thought Right. To be or not to be...there was never any question! Our recruitment shirts this year have a large texas flag on the back and say: "Founded in Virgina, Perfected in Texas" Another cute one we had made for our guy friends during recruitment one year had a picture of marilyn monroe from the movie Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, and it said "Gentlemen prefer Zetas. " the guys loved wearing it! let me know if you like any of these! |
