Beach Boys:
California Girls
Little Surfer Girl
Surfin' USA (one of my favs.)
anything by the beach boys is good.

You mgiht also like The Eagles, while they aren't motown, they're great to listen to. Here are some of their songs:
Hotel California
Take it easy
Desperado
Life in the Fast Lane
Take it to the Limit
Tequila Sunrise

those are just a few of their songs.

Kansas is also good: Dust in the Wind and Wayward Son

anything by the Beatles would be good; try the Monkees: Mrs. Robinson, Hey Hey We're the Monkees

this is just my kind of thread.. I LOVE MUSIC (well this types at least) while all of my friends are downloading new songs.. I am getting these.. (though I have most already on CD :) )

Since there are so many songs that I love I am just going to name the top ones..

Beatles -- Blackbird.. In my life (two fav songs--though I love any song, this is religion to me)

CSNY -- Almost Cut My Hair, Our House, Cinnamon Girl (so many here as well.. saw them in concert twice)

Beach Boys -- God Only Knows... Wouldnt it be nice..

Carly Simon
Bob Dylan
Janis Joplin (cant believe I forgot her from my first list.. im sure i forgot more as well)

I know that these songs arent prob what you were thinking.. but I think that these are prob some of my faves of everything.. you can find some great collection CDs in the store as well from diff times..

though I love the 50s, 60s, and 70s music.. depending on my mood ecsp since they can be very diff types... it drives my boyfriend crazy when I get to listening to this in the car and I know the words to like all the songs and will be dancing around
:D

I like the Beatles, the Who, the Byrds and most stuff from the late 1960s to mid 1970s. I also like New Wave and Heavy Metal from the 1980s.

Recently I have noticed the songs I listened to while growing up and coming of age in the 1980s are now being played in classic rock or pop station. That makes me feel old!
