I was 30 when I met my husband....1 month and 8 days before my 31st birthday
We met online and he flew out from Vancouver, BC to meet me (I lived in the Washington, DC area at the time)

How long did you know each other before "the question" was popped? 2 years 3 months

How long was the engagement? 21 months and 2 weeks. We got married in Las Vegas on 12/11/01

I was 17 and still in high school. I met him at a "prospective" college picnic/fun day. He was a junior at the school and was playing volleyball. I asked if I could play on his team, and he cursed at me. I almost did not go to the college because of it!

We never really dated. He was a friend. I got sick in my first semester at the school and so we decided to get married.

How long was the engagement?
1 year :)

We have a BIG anniversary this summer! YEAH!

It was the beginning of my sophomore year in college, so I was 19, he was 20

If you count what I called the "fake" proposal (he says he was serious :rolleyes: ) we knew each other other for 3 years. There were 2 other quasi proposals, but the "real" proposal--the one I said yes to--came after 9 years of knowing each other

The engagement was for 17 months

Yep, we knew each other for 11 years before we got married. We've been married for 7

I was 25, he was 31.
We dated for about a year before he asked me to marry him.
The engagement was four months.

He is still my sweet darling nine years later! I love being married too!

I was 23 and he was 44 when we met.

He told me within a couple of months that he was going to ask me to marry him, but the actual proposal -- which I thought was a joke -- came on my 25th birthday (August, 2000). The official announcement of our engagement came around Thanksgiving. That was when I got the ring.

We were married January 12, 2001.

When we were first introduced, I was 17 and he was 18. He was no more than a "friend of a friend" to me for the next few years though... I was 20 and he was 21 when we actually started dating.

We got engaged about 10 months after that.

Our engagement was just shy of 2-1/2 years.

my husband is living in a hut somewhere in the farthest reaches of guam where i will never meet him and i'll end up an old southern maid throwing rocks at lil kids who walk in front of my house. lol :p

I was 19 he was 24.

We got engaged 2 years after that.

Our engagement was 5 months.

We will celebrate our 6th anniversary August 16 :)

Knew each other for about a month; actually he popped the question 4 days after we met, but I didn't think he was serious until he asked me a month later, with a ring, in front of his family!

5 months. We got married on May 1, 1998--his birthday!!! It's been five wonderful years!

DH says he knew right away, but it took me about 3 months :)
