You can see blocks of time that are allotted for things to do for the week, but you can't see exactly what it is. You'd have to click on the day to see what you had written.

If it's not in my PalmPilot, it doesn't exist... :)

I have an m500 and it is invaluable to me in maintaining my schedule and phone book. And in looking busy at work while actually playing games ;)

My parents got me a Palm Pilot for my birthday last year and I use it almost every day. Like someone else said, if it's not in my Palm Pilot, it doesn't exist. I know everything that is important to me is in there, phone numbers, appointments, reminders, etc. My life would truly fall apart if I didn't have it. But during the year, I have my Palm, and I have a day planner, so I can jot down notes about assignments and such. It's nice to be able to look at a week at a time in the day planner, but I like tha plam just the same.

I live and die by my Palm. I have a Clie SJ-30. It has a great high res screen and lots of memory and a memory card with another 128 mb that I can store music on so it is also an MP3 player.

In my office we use Franklin Planner Software for Outlook users. Through Franklin you get all of the great features we all loved with our printed planners like What Matters Most plus you can sync your Palm with Outlook enabling you to have all of your contact info in one place with email and calendar. That way you can also print out your month long calendar to take with you places as well.

With newer Palms (or at least Clies) you don't need the Franklin software to sync with Outlook. It has intelisync software that lets you choose your application.

In our office we use Outlook to schedule all appointments and hearings so you can invite other people and do all sorts of things and then still take it with you. I LOVE PALMS.

PALM=Poor man's/woman's laptop!!http://216.40.249.192/s/otn/happy/yltype.gif

I have an m500 with a folding keyboard. With DocsToGo I can type a word document anywhere I have my Palm and when I get home I sync to the Mac, print, and TADA!! Out comes a letter, memo, paper, etc. If you have enough money and a good Palm/PDA you can upgrade your DocsToGo and run powerpoint presentations off of it. Buy a cable to hook it into the projector like a computer and off you go!! (I want to do that!!) :D

I was on a colony visit with one of our Travelling Counselors. We had the members working on something, and we both needed to type up what we had done so far, etc. She pulls out her laptop, I pull out the Palm. We both got it done.

I use mine to store information that I want to take with me. I will put my calendar items in there, but I also have a weekly paper planner provided by my job to see the "big picture". I also do some writing on paper, some on the Palm. Depends on what mood I'm in.

My husband has a Palm and he barely uses it. I don't think he has as much stuff to keep up with as I do.
