It's kind of crazy - I was looking the other day and saw that I've been on the site for just about 8 years (it looks like I joined a month after you). I was a college sophomore when I joined; it makes me feel a little old that sophomore year was THAT long ago.

I checked my join date: 6 years in Jan. I was a freshman (and not even Greek yet actually). Didn't join Sigma until the next spring. It seems like forever ago. Every now and then, I dig up my rush thread for giggles because I was like 19 and a total dork.

Ah yes, I remember when I living in Toronto and lil' Hawaiian gal named OohTeenyWahine arrived on the shores of GC! I remember because you posted this and it really reasonated with me. This must be nearly one of your first ever posts, given the date!!

Your post made me want to check my join date. I was 5 years as of 12/3/08. Time flies!

I never read that post. I'm so happy (in hindsight) that she was crying that night. Otherwise, I might night be able to call her a sister.
