I dont remember a CD with any particular activity for when you get married...are you talking about a ritual CD????
We have had alot of engagements but only one wedding in my chapter since ive been a sister (almost 3 years) and we didnt do anything in particular at her ceremony...she gave us all a pink carnation it was at our tables with a cute notecard at the reception, and she had some pink carnations in her bouquet...

deltabetababy: what is the whole pink garter thing??? ive never heard about it...i sent an email to one of my alum's who works in my office to ask her about it...but ive never seen or heard anything about it sounds super cute though :)

these traditions are so cute. unfortunetly I am apart of a local org that has only been around for 3 years so we havent yet gotten the chance to witness a wedding however we just had an engagement! (one of our alum) And it was so cute, the day we found out we called a so called emergency meeting so she could announce it to all of us. It was the best thing to hear! But know my focus is something for the wedding! what can us girls do! we'll think of something.
Anyway you are all lucky to have these great traditions! keep it up!

Our chapter sings "The Legacy Song" to the bride at the reception, However, sisters who came to mine were too embarrassed to sing it in front of everyone so they sang it in the bathroom:eek: while I was changing to leave. We were ROTFL and suddenly, we heard this little voice come out of a stall saying, "What are y'all DOING?" (non-Greek bridesmaid, we'd thought we were alone)

The Chi Os at Mississippi State had this garter that each girl wore to her wedding and she would sew a ribbon to it with her name and wedding date and send it back. It had about 2 billion ribbons on it and I don't know how it stayed up at that weight or how they always got people to return it!

Deltabetababy, Ladybug, Moonstar~
I haven't heard of any of these traditions. From the looks of it in the next 2 or 3 years I'm going to be giogn to lots of Phi Mu weddings and I would love to know some things to do for the brides. Right now the only thing i can think of is singing "Sisters" or "Picture a Girl" to her.

I didn't attend but one of our advisors got married this year and I know the sisters that went gathered around and sang our sweetheart song to both the bride and groom. :)

My wedding was full of yellow roses...and I wasn't even a Beta Sigma Phi yet!

My grand-big just got married, and incorporated the red rose of SAI into a lot of the wedding images and such. She also used a New Testament reading that is very special to us--I'm certain that the other SAIs know exactly the one--and her pin was pinned to her wedding gown somewhere, I believe. We didn't have enough sisters present to sing the Chorale or Bennediction, but her big sang at the ceremony and it was lovely all around.
