ok, so i looked in to it... no dice on eihter the student loan, or the grant. (bs if you ask me) ..... so now i am thinking i will just get the unsigned version of the jacket.... i am pretty sure it cost less than $1,875 (which is what the jacket is going for right now btw)

The jacket's at $2000! Can you believe it? I talked to a few of my sisters, they're trying to raise money to put up on a bid for it some time tommorow...it would look so cool in our house...

whoa...so i just got back here after being absent for a bit...a little unexpected vacay for me....this auction thing does sound pretty cool. sadly, i cannot afford to do that, but still. very nice indeed. it makes the goo goo dolls that much more of a band whom i will listen to knowing that they are guys who will donate a jacket to a good cause- such as Levi's auctioning it off.

Love, the Goo Goo Dolls, got all of the recordings, even the first one when they were a punk band. Like the new stuff better though.

Love "Iris" and "Big Machine". Never saw them in concert though. Must put that on my schedule.

i bet they will be coming to somewhere near you soon BOS. I heard that they are playing in charlotte NC soon, so i bet they will play somewhere in Va. I hope so, i will be wearing my new jean jacket there, that is for sure.

Iris and Name are my favorites by the Goos...i prefer their earlier stuff to their newer stuff.

Anyways...bc I couldn't personally afford to buy the jacket myself, I was going to buy one and then have the band sign it when i see them in concert this summer

thats cool about your house trying to get involved in something that big- our community service projects tended to be more locally oriented with car washes and hospital services, but helping out a big cause with Levi's and Goo Goo Dolls would have been cool!
