Well, it's a Disney wedding (@ the world!) so if anyone can pull it off, they can. I'm hopeful!

Not only do they wilt fast but in certain parts of the country you cannot get them. Same with lilies of the valley. Last year our florist did locate some lilies of the valley, but they were $120 a bunch!!!!!!!!! We already have a flower budget that would blow your mind. That was a BIG NO!

I wonder if you can order fresh flowers via the net if their not seasonal in your location. I know you can do it with fruit.

I hope it all work out for ya!!!!

You can, but they are still super expensive b/c they are rare flowers and are expensive everywhere.

Check out Beautiful Orchids. You can order a bunch of lily of the valley for $85.

Be aware, they picture they post is of THREE bunches. They claim to pick these along the Santa Barbara coast line, but we have tried to get lily of the valley in SB for rush for years to no avail. They bloom in the spring and summer, so that may be a part of the problem.

When you look at Teleflora they do not even list places online that sell forget-me-nots or lily of the valley. It is a never ending quest.

Since we're on the subject of weddings, here's my question: 2 of my sisters are getting married this summer... 1 is my pledge sister, and the other is my big sister! Does anyone have any good ideas for really great a-phi presents I can get for them?

I love the candlelights we have at weddings. One of our sisters makes a beautiful candle for the bride and at the reception we sing the song and do one pass around. Its so special because so many of our sisters are still close and attend each others weddings

We moved last year and today I was poking around in our new garden. Much to my delight I found both Forget-Me-Nots and Lily of the Valley are rampant in my back yard!!! I may have to even cut back some of the Forget Me Nots there are so many of them ... would you like me to send you some, CA in CA???

(By the way, I didn't know you were getting married? And at Disneyworld??? I'm very jealous! I was just down in CA last week and my friend and I went to Disneyland for 2 days... what fun!)

I got married in the fall and our flowers were VERY out of season then. So I made do with White Roses (my favorite non-AP flower) and these blue flowers that looked like forget me nots but aren't. Too bad I can't remember what they are called!!!
