I've been reading alot of these posts in the rush boards and I can't seem to figure this out what does COB stand for?

Continuous Open Bidding

The thing I didn't like about deferred recruitment at IU is that the sisters and PNMs have to come back a week early from winter break to finish it up. (the first round takes place over a weekend in November) IU's winter break is only three weeks long to begin with, so it just seemed like not long enough of a break. The dorms are open but the cafeterias weren't...it was kind of a pain.
