They have no business taking kids that age to any restaurant that serves alcohol, IMO.

Most restaurants around here serve alcohol.

Off the top of my head, I can't think of many non-fast food restaurants that don't serve alcohol.

This is the reason why the world is going to hell, I'll tell ya. :( ;)

Hooters seems to be an adult themed restaurant. I have never eaten there so I don't know from first hand experience. If the kids went there with their own parents, it is one thing, but the adult chaperones took them there. There are fast food places all over the place. They couldn't find a Mickey D's or BK or a pizza place?! Give me a freakin' break. I hate when adults who are supposed to be in charge of children do stupid things. What's next dinner at Scores?!

I am really all riled up about this.

I know it's weird that I'm quoting myself but anyhoo... :)

I figure there is always something like a Denny's or an Eat-n-Park around. Or even a fast food place.

Denny's in Valdosta serves beer.

that's per kid, right? they'll sue for hooters making them fat?

GRITS 04-08-2003 09:22 PM

Have any of the kids spoken up? It's what they thought that we really need to be worried about.

probably thought it was great...you think a 10 year old boy wouldn't jump at the chance to look at some half naked broads running around?

GRITS 04-08-2003 09:41 PM

They are in jr. high so you would hope that there will be some mature ones. Are any of the parents taking action?
P.S. Who stills says broads?

LeslieAGD 04-08-2003 09:47 PM

Unacceptable.

Dionysus 04-08-2003 09:51 PM

Come on now, it's Hooter's, not a strip club.
