Go to a screening. A lot of colleges have film series--for example, my school is showing High Fidelity (with a discussion afterwards!).

Art openings. Weekend nights tend to be the nights that galleries will have openings. Free food, good art. Yum. :)

Have sex (always classic).

Why the roll eyes at card playing parties? I know when me and my friends are bored/broke we sit down and play spades. Add some trash talking, and you have a night where the neighbors call the cops cause you are being too loud. Now that's fun.

One of my favorite cheap things to do is sit around half the night and play cards with friends. Two of my favorites are Euchre and Liverpool Rummy. Don't know how to play?
