2. Neither. I just think those ideas are lame, especially anything for the arm. Both of them seem kind of arrogant to me. If there's one thing I despise in a guy, it's arrogance (confidence is good-it can just be carried too far). I like the idea about "Friends for life" in German, too. And definately go for the back. Arms are not a turn-on, at least for me personally.

I like the "Friends for Life"--- but honestly, get what you feel is right for you--even if everyone says its lame. If it is right for you then get it, you have to live with it--no one else!!!!

My opinion is tattoos are personal--- if you have a story to go with it, then it is more interesting. But if you don't, who the hell cares!!! There will ALWAYS be someone who does not like your tat. I have 8--will soon be getting #9--and won't stop there!! My husband has more than 20 (i've lost count)--- I have one he does not like~~just like he has several I don't like!! But we accept each other for who we are, and the tattoos we have--his tats are his decision, just like mine are my decisions.

When deciding make sure it is the right tat for you---don't just pick some random piece of flash because it looks cool. Make it have meaning to you. Be sure you will be happy with the placement of it--it will be there for a long time. Make sure you go somewhere with a good reputation--somewhere that is clean!!

And don't forget they say they are addictive--so be prepared to be getting another. :)

badtattoos.com has officially scared me into NEVER getting a tattoo.

i have a tribal on my lower back that signifies princess, a tribal on my foot (very small, i drew it), a yellow rose and sorority letters (also very small) on my right hip, and a tiny pink M (adding a little butterfly) on my lower stomach right above those little hip bones that stick out.. :)

and i'm not freaky. just love those tattoos :) :)

Many people have said, but I feel like reiterating it. Get whatever you want. It's your body, it's your tattoo. You have to live with it. My only advice to you would be make sure it's something meaningful to you. If you go out and get a random tattoo (like Elmer Fudd on your azz), you're going to wake up one day and say, "what the &*#@!!!".
I love mine and don't regret them. I'm thinking about getting another one. There isn't really a story behind them but they do mean something to me. So before you go out and get yours, make sure it's something that means something to you, and that you can live with for the rest of your life.

P.S, I don't remember who said it, but tattoos are addictive

If you're going for the "pimp" look, that's great, I'm just pointing out that it's going to turn a lot of girls off. In my mind, there's arrogance, and then there's just lame pimpy-ness. It's anybody's guess as to which you're going for. Personally, even though I'm not a big fan of arrogance, I'd rather have just the arrogance than a "pimp". The "pimp" thing is a fad. Anyway, there is a difference between arrogance and confidence, and it's not something women made up just because they were intimidated by a man.
There is also a difference between being assertive and being a bitch. If you're assertive you can speak your mind in a tactful manner, and listen to otehrs opinions while strongly sharing yours. You're a bitch when you don't care about anyone else, and people will let you have your way if it will shut you up. Get what I'm saying?

What you just posted is completely false. This is what guys who think they're "pimps" (which is definately something that is lame, unattractive, and not cool) say to make themselves feel better around classy girls that don't want to get with them. A guy that called himself a pimp or got either of those tattoos at my school would be laughed off campus. You may still be a really great person, but I just think I should warn you of that fact.
