Delta Gamma Mission Statement

Delta Gamma offers to women of all ages a rich heritage based on principles of personal integrity, personal responsibility and intellectual honesty. Its primary purpose is to foster high ideals of friendship, promote educational and cultural interests, create a true sense of social responsibility, and develop the finest qualities of character.

Gamma Phi Beta was founded on November 11, 1874 at Syracuse University in Syracuse, New York. The object of Gamma Phi is to develop the highest type of womanhood through education, social life, and service to country and humanity. And our creed is love, labor, learning, and loyalty.

Delta Phi Epsilon was formed "for the purpose of promoting good fellowship among sorority women...to help...in acquiring knowledge, appreciation, discriminating judgment and a true feeling of sisterly love, through interaction of sympathetic and friendly natures." from the notes of our Founders, 1917.''

Our founding principles are Justice, Sisterhood and Love.
