the Not-sorority type
 

I was so anti sorority when i came to school. I wanted to be a frat little sister more because it just seemed more real. Anyway-I met some really nice girls in two groups and one was more typical-their colors were pink and stuff and their local mascot was the unicorn (gag me) Most of all though, it had two girls from my highschool in it. One I knew (I had a Spanish class with her) and I thought she was dumb as dirt and the other I didn't know but I hated my high school and would never join a sorority that had of its members in it. So I joined the second group.They were so awesome. But honestly, the reason why Iliked them was not the sisterhood, or ritual or grades or anything, but they did party like rock stars and as a 18 year old out in the world-that was really important to me. they thought I was cool and I thought they were cool. nothing mushy about it. Sorry-but that's the truth. And they hung out with all the frats. So that's what I did......turned out fine.

I JOINED BECAUSE I ALREADY LIVE BY THE PRINCIPLES OF ZETA PHI BETA. THE MAIN THING WAS THE SISTERHOOD. I AM AN ONLY CHOLD SO I NEEDED REAL SISTERS.

The thing that attracted me to the chapter I pledged was the unique questions the members asked me. After a whole day of "where are you from, what classes are you taking" it was nice to hear something a little different. It made me feel like the girls at that house actually wanted to find out something about me.

I hope this doesn't come off the wrong way...

But although I knew I wanted to be a Gamma Phi from the very start since I had heard so many great things about this chapter before rush, I was seriously impressed by their outfits. The choice of rush clothing is so important to the girls going through rush, as shallow as that may sound.

Unique, cute, well-coordinated outfits count for alot. The basic XL rush t-shirt and jeans just doesn't cut it anymore, in my book at least.

So what exactly did your chapter wear that impressed you so much ? I mean it does count for a lot to look put together and well groomed... but what exactly about their outfits made them stand apart ? I'm pretty sure the other chapters weren't wearing the typical XL rush shirt either.. since most chapters don't anymore.
well, I must admit my chapter did for one round wear a shirt that was just normal t-shirt.. but it has the CUTEST logo that was basically modeled after the converse logo with the star in the middle we actually got many compliments on them..
