I finally got my Valentines Day!!!
 

I finally had my V-Day yesterday (the 18th)!!!

As soon as the Emergency level dropped to 2, TKE209 was down here ready to go :)
He had his bedroom filled w/candles with rose petals all over his bed! :D On the foot of his bed he had bought me a giant floppy dog w/a jewerly box attached to its ribbon. :) He had bought me a pair of white gold w/sapphire earrings :) *le sigh* I love my belated V-Days :D :D :D :D :D

Our V-day started out semi-disastrous... I tried to make him steak for dinner, but I didn't know how to broil it, and I ended up filling up the house with smoke from the badly burned meat :eek: So Valentine's Day dinner ended up being a Tombstone pizza!

The rest of the night was wonderful, though (and he was so great about the steak). We cuddled up and watched Life Is Beautiful, and he gave me a giant teddy-bear and a romantic little thing for next to my desk at work. I had given him a movie (that I'd planned on us watching, but we decided on LiB instead) and a kiddie pop-up book about love that tied in our nicknames for each other.

We had a fun Valentines Day. Thankfully the weather was beautiful (in Orlando) and we woke up semi-early (for us) and spent all day at Islands of Adventure since I had never been before. Basically we were two grown-up kids all day :) We left when the park was almost closing (at 7) and we were starving (b/c we didn't want to eat and then ride jolting rides) so we got some good Chinese take out and went back to his apartment. We had our romantic/dressy dinner on Sunday (his birthday) at the Melting Pot---which for those of you who aren't familiar, is a fondue restaurant. Overall, such a great weekend :cool:

Mr. Amycat told me he wanted to marry me. A number of times, in a number of ways. :)

1. I want to be with you forever.
2. I want to marry you someday. (OK, so I'm obsessing a little about the SOMEDAY part, I'll admit that!)
3. I am going to marry you.

Ah, Happy Happy Joy Joy. Wonder when he'll make it official. My bet is this summer....

Isn't that the greatest feeling in the world? ~smile & sigh~
