Lesbian sororities already in progress
Well, if you all don't know, there are sororities that cater ONLY to lesbian/bisexual females. There is even 2 sororities who are legally, consitutionally bonded as brutha/sistah. By this, I mean one caters to femmes, agressive femmes, lipstick lesbians while the other caters to soft butch, butches, and dominant women ONLY. So women who have alternative lifestyles have already started sororities that already cater to their needs. From researching most of the organizations, they consider bisexual/bi-curious to be a fad just like wearing low rider jeans. Nowadays, most women's claim to fame is to state that they are bi-sexual rather than choose to live the real life where everything is not so accepting and fun.. Check out the Gay/Lesbian Sorority Links below:

butch and femme sororities- that's pretty cool. Now I'm dividing up my lesbian and bisexual friends in my head as to which would go where.

We've had lesbian sisters in Lambda for quite a while, it's never been a big deal. Right now we have none due to that one graduated and the other transferred.

All I gotta say is I don't know if they were lesbian or bi, but I knew quite a few sorority girls who hooked up with each other lol

I'm not sure if this reflects poorly on myself, SFSU greek life or what...but that Lambda Delta Lamdba sorority said it was founded in 1988 at San Francisco State (which means its been around for a while) but I never saw hide nor hair of that group, and i was very close friends with a pledge sister in Alpha Phi who claimed to be bisexual who was involved with the LGBA on campus...and so I'm 95% she would have brought this group to our attention. ANyway long story short I'm mostly just curious if anyone knows more info on this group in particular, the website is very vague and I know there are some SFSUers out there.

There were a couple openly gay members of my APO chapter. Nobody made a big deal of it.
