It was pretty good, granted it was a mini series, but the clown freaked me out.

Just my opinion though. |

also another problem is when people read the books, they have a preconceived notion of how the film should be made. A little like the pre-hype around Lord of the Rings. I remmember a lot of people hoping that the movie would not butcher the serie. I know Stephen King's book are long and they go into details of character development. Which is why I love his book.

I saw the most f*cked up movie: Unfaithful
Man that was MESSED UP> She had a perfectly good marriage and she throws it away for what? FOR WHAT? And on top of all that, HE TAKES HER BACK!!!!!!!!! |
You know what we just realized last night? Someone actually SAT DOWN and wrote the dildo fight scene in Sorority Boys, amongst other crap scenes/scripts?

just some random responses
ok, first off, you're write. Movies DO suck nowadays. The only arguably "good" ones are those that are either based on books or are sequels. Case in point, the only movies I've seen lately that I've enjoyed have been movies like: Spiderman (based on comic book), the Ring (a remake of a Japanese movie), Lord of the Rings (more on this later... but duh, it's a book... a f**king great book btw...), League of Extraordinary Gentlmen (book or comic book... I forget which), and Pirates of the Caribean (sp?) (based on a ride... :-D ) Where's the orginal ideas people!? Even stuff like 28 Days Later was just a sort of rip-off of Resident Evil/the Stand. Which reminds me...
And I just wanted to add that I thought that "the Stand" and "the Langoliers" (sp?) were also two good Stephen King movies, and almost Rose Red... it was disappointing at times. Finally, just wanted to say that I CANNOT WAIT until Dec 17 when the final Lord of the Rings movie hits theaters. It's the only thing I'm looking forward to until Spring break in March :( |
