I have been dating an AKA for about six months. We are doing wonderfully! As a matter of fact - well - all I can say is if the walls could talk you would understand (lol).

On a seriuse note, my lady is great and I know this is the one. It is difficult not to rush a relationship when things seem perfect. I want to date no less than a year before popping the question. Although, I really want to now.

Much like my frat says there are good men and women. One just has to wait and pray the R I G H T match.

Post Script: Brothers and Sisters should post events that their chapers sponsor. I would dash to DC to hang out with frat and sisters.

It's true, I'm on a whole 'nother coast--and some of our folks don't like being what they are... Goto the "thread" about Black women and see what's the issue. However, one of my DC sorors said she was "through" with the Maryland bruhs--ALL bruhs. And I have been told never bring your man to DC or MD 'cuz of the "debt to income" ratio is really high--meaning, women outnumber men 5 to 1 or more... Is it true? I am not going to work with odds like that when there are just enuf bruhs out here. They may be dazed and confused but the odds on the otherside of the nation are just too high for me AND I'll take my chances with being alone for the rest of my life out here...

Professor: Congrats on finding love. Especially with a pham member! Hope all will workout between you and her. And work hard to take things really slow.

Eh, why don't all of our organizations hook up a "dating service" thingy? How about it? My folks were talking to other Sigma Pi Phi Boule members and they were sayin' what's wrong with our kids not hookin' up??? Then my SANDS and I had to get on our Silvers and Goldens 'cuz they got some available, single and good sons and they ain't hookin' up their single sorors. Then we are forced to meet guys with "jumbled" teeth, bad credit and baby's mama drama. Or the straight outta Compton, will blow your MF head off Thuggish Brutha's Big Pimpin' thing...

UuuuuHHHHH, I get soooo angry with what I have to deal with out here!!! But the weather's great and there's lots of freedom to do whatever you wanna do...

You would think LA's the place, but let me tell you 'bout knowin' the real ones from the fake ones... You would think that Frisco got it goin' on, but if you have to question their preferences, then you KNOW you outta not have to question. You would think Seattle got a much "cooler" climate, but that's not the only white thing a brutha likes. It's winding up that a sistah in SoCal has to be "Livin' La Vida Loco" or a NoCal sistah has to think about "Turnin' Japanese" or a PacNorthWest sistah...well... You could think about the other boys... They do say there are numerous single MEN in Alaska... Oh well. Times are rough...

And don't ask me to leave my beloved west coast. I love it out here. And I been there and done that with the ATL and the FLA...
