- To lose weight!! Weight Watcher's here I come!!!!
- To believe in myself. - To be happy! This year was a terrible year for me and it took me forever to learn what was wrong with me. In fact today I learned from my doctor. So I am going to spend this year overcoming that and being happy. Good luck to all of us!!!!! We should keep this thread up and update on who's breaking theirs or not. |
-I need to stop procrasinating about studying and homework for spring. It is my last semester and I NEED to pass all my classes, 5 in all (upper division biology mostly)-Genetics, Cell physiology, plant taxonomy, advanced writing class, and geology 10 lab.
-And I spend way to much time on the internet and this thing, so hopefully I can cut back the amount of time I'm on here. -Be happy |
Well, I started on the New Year early and started cleaning. AND I found my box of blank checks! Thank you, Saint Anthony and Baby Jesus!!
|
1. To be a better president for my class
2. Not procrastinate as much 3. To reach colony status by March. |
1. To lose about 20 pounds, my bf may not like the idea but oh well, heh.
2. To get KGX up and running better! 3. Keep my 3.4 GPA up throughout the next 2 semesters... :) |
I have a lot so here goes:
-to go to EVERY CLASS every time I have it unless I am deathly ill -to fix my handwriting (it's so messy sometimes *I* can't even read it and that makes studying my notes impossible  ) -to keep working out for 1-1 1/2 hours everyday like I do now -to be more organized -study more -run for exec in the fall -no drinking or smoking (I don't anyway, but it's important that it stays that way :D ) I have more, but that's all I can think of for right now....;) |
start living by a budget
work out on a regular basis after my surgery get into grad school start saving money |
Quote:
As for my resolution, I really want to put money in savings. I meant to do that before but then I got stuck paying rent in two places so it was impossible. Now my old roommate has a new roommate, so those days are over :D |
- Go to all of my classes unless I am too sick
- Stop wasting so much time when I should be working - Work out 5 days per week (I'm at like 3 to 4 right now) - Wake up cheerful and early every morning! |
- Pass the rest of my database administrator certification exams
- Find either a long-term contract job, or a permanent job - Lose weight - Get back into my exercise program - Cut back on the booze - Finish writing the cookbook I started working on - Drive more safely (this after skidding into a guard rail the day after Christmas :( ) |
Not resolutions,but accomplishments
These are things I want to accomplsh this year
-find a better, higher paying job -take the GRE and M.A.T -pay off lingering LSU debt so that they'll release my transcript -lose at least 30lbs. I'm 164. That's not bad, but I'm 5' 2" so that I weight to much for my height |
hmm let's see:
- work out after classes with amanda daily - stop cursing - go to church more regularly - try not to break anymore guys' hearts [just kidding- but seriously, I'd like to try and NOT get bored of a guy after a few weeks... arg, it gets so aggrivating] - keep up grades |
-Make sure I get the negative freshman fifteen (I already lost 7)!
-Go to my classes! (amazing concept) -Get at least a 3.25 -Continue with my last year's resolution (be sunshine to people instead of clouds): meaning that I have now become addicted to putting cards in people's mailboxes when they are upset or anytime there is a holiday But, my most important resolution: Walk with confidence, don't look at the ground, look ahead. Look people in the eyes and smile as I pass them. If I walk with confidence, I feel confident and things go better. And a smile goes a long way. Isnt there some sort of quote that says something like "Don't frown because you never know who could be falling in love with your smile?" |
I generally don't make new years resolutions, but here is what I want to improve on.
Spend more time with my friends Quit working so much, this is the time to enjoy life, not waste it at a job (or 2). That is supposed to happen after college. Spend more time with my sister and nephew Stop trying to support my family clean my room more than once every 2-3 weeks (goes along with not working as much) |
