I will be doing papers on Wednesday night that way I can keep my Turkey Day free from madness. But the day after Thanksgiving I will be the selling queen at the store!

Hope everyone has a great one!

I'm going to try my darnedest to get all the rest of my homework (mainly papers) done over break so that I dont' have to do a damn thing the rest of the semester (two weeks or whatever it is). I'll only have ONE final exam (God has had mercy on me after I've done my penance of 19 credit hrs this semester!!!) so I'm thinking if I can get those piddly papers out of the way over break (not hard ones, just time consuming) then I'll have plenty of time to chill out and just focus on work (teaching preschool).

(and wow, did you notice how many parenthetical statements I just made??)

I, too, am a TURKEY LOVER. It's got to be my absolute favorite meal *mmm* Well, chicken fettucine alfredo is probably a contender--but I can have that far more often than I get a real nice turkey with my mom's homemade rolls :)

HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYBODY!!! :D

Happy Turkey Day to All!

My parents are actually coming up here this year and we're gonna have Thanksgiving at my sister's house. Between now and then i'm with the rest of y'all that are working on school work, it seems like all my profs decided to assign stuff that's due after the break (either that or i'm a HUGE procrastinator :D).

So, i get to chow on turkey here, head to work for 4 hours that night, and get up and hopefully watch A&M upset the 'horns in Austin. After that, i'm in the library for the rest of the weekend.

Y'all have a happy Thanksgiving, and now that i've posted i can avoid the dreaded choking on stuffing.

Kitso
KS 361 leftovers i hope to steal from my sister's house to fill my fridge ;)

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! If you're traveling, be safe.

Kitso, I will be in Austin Friday to watch Texas beat A&M!
But we can still be friends, ok?

I'm making cornbread stuffing with chorizo and cilantro (to appease my Puerto Rican boyfriend who wanted something "not so traditional"), and I'd hate to choke on that! So...

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!

Found out yesterday I'm going to spend t-day in Norman.. (town where Oklahoma U is). Don't know what I'll do there for the whole day but I'm sure I'll figure things out.

I’ll be doing a paper over break as well. My parents left for Pennsylvania yesterday; to see my little sister up at Penn so I have no idea what I will be doing for dinner.

Finals start next Tuesday, so I'll take Thursday off to cook, then I'll live in the law library.

Question for everyone:
What's the one dish that you absolutely must have on T-giving? I mean, what would rather cancel Thanksgiving, rather than go without?

I say sweet potatoe pudding with pecan/brown sugar topping. YUMMM!!!

Happy T-Giving to all & good luck w/papers/finals/homework, etc.

(p.s. Hook 'em Horns!)

MOM"S STUFFING IS THE BEST EVER!!!!!! She just knows how to do it and no one else does.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Goodness, this past weekend I saw they were selling Christmas trees already!

I will be going to San Antonio on Thursday because my brother has a thanksgiving tournament there. Atleast my grandparents will be meeting our family up there, so its all good.

I dont know if we will be having a thanksgiving dinner though, i guess we will have to look around town for restaurants that serve the traditional thanksgiving dinner on thursday!

I've got a big HISSSS to all that are supporting the Horns this Friday :D But hey, i love y'all, to me it's like sibling rivalry, you always want to beat em, but you still love em. Now ITTech on the other hand, that's a WHOLE different story.

BTW, i think cancelling the Hex Rally in light of what has happened this week was a strictly class move. I don't think it was necessary, i.e. i don't think too many Aggies would have been offended if y'all and went ahead and had it, but the fact that y'all cancelled it reminds me why i'm proud to call myself a Texan, and why i'm proud to have UT in our state and our rival.

That being said, i hope the players can put this behind them and play a spirited and hard-fought game on Friday. And, hopefullly, the good guys will be victorious. (Hint: The good guys wear Maroon!)

Gig 'em,

Kitso
KS 361 times i've thought, hey, those t-sips aren't tooo bad :D

I'm actually spending Turkey Day in Providence...with grad school applications and the first chapter of my thesis due Monday, I am to my ears in work. I can't leave architecture studio for more than a few days...our final project is due in 2 weeks! My best friend is staying here too, and Mr. Munchkin03 will be here, so we will have a "non-traditional" Thanksgiving!

Speaking of turkey, I just watched this movie about the way a certain company (which shall remain nameless) treats their turkeys and what happens when they try to escape. The feeders keep the turkeys as fleshy as possible so they'll be nice and plump, and their legs can't support their weight. :( I'm not a serious vegetarian, but I will not be eating turkey.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone and wish me luck! I have a big Irish Step dancing competition over thanksgiving break. So I get to spend thanksgiving in a nice hotel in Chicago! I dance Friday morning.
