My favorite class ever was Globalization. Right now, the best class I'm currently inrolled in is the American Impact on Canada.

The best class I took was a Country Line Dancing course. It was the best elective and lots of fun!

My favorite is a tie: Personality and Canada: a social science perspective.
Personality was fun because you got to do research by hanging out with your friends. The canada class was just very interesting. |
Wow, I'm totally shocked that an American University offered a class on Canada! That's really cool!

My favorite class so far is "The History Of Rock Music." I needed a fine arts requirement for my major and I saw this and I am soo glad I took it. Very interesting and fun!

I have two, one was argumentation and debate. I took it spring of my freshman year, and it was a blast. always good times in that class. My second one was intro to us national gov. i took it with an alumni from a different chapter, and he did a great job of teaching. the material was interesting and the class was always fun.

Mine actually came as a total suprise. I had to take Engl 101 for gen ed req's this year, but it has turned out to be my favorite class. I called it my "touchy-feely" class because we would all sit in a circle at the front of the class and share our work, and our thoughts. It really helped to get what we were doing out in front of an audience without being embarassed. Plus, we got to find out a lot about each other since all the work lead up to a personal memoir which we got to share. I think I learned more about total strangers lives than I ever would have guessed, from drugs, to death, parents and bad decisions, friends and even one guy's prison stay. It will really stick in my mind as the best class.

I think my favorite class so far was an art history class I took called "Why America Looks this Way." It was a class basically learning to recognize all the different styles of architecture that were important and influencial in America. I've always loved looking at building and houses, and learning to recognize them by their style was interesting. My prof is a practicing and recognized architect, especially here in Michigan. so that made it more interesting and made it clear that he knew what he was talking about. I even learned that a prominant architect in American history was from here in Marquette! (Which is pretty amazing....you don't get a whole lot of famous people coming out of the UP). All in all I really enjoyed it....

When I was in Grad school at KU, I took a Human Sexuality class, it was the best class I've ever had.

I'm in a really good Russian History class right now. The professor is a really good lecturer, as her lectures come off very much like stories. Also, the history itself is really interesting.

My favorite class this semester is my psychology class. Its an intro class but i needed it for a liberal arts class and i LOVE it. My professor is excellent and always gives an example from a personal experience which makes it that more interesting.

History of the Vietnam war was interesting.

I took a course on Shakespeare ten years ago. I was interested in studying the works by The Bard and saw the perfect opportunity to do it. The professor assigned us one of the best papers assignments I have ever seen. We had to pick a play that we didn't read in class, read it and write at least fifty good questions about it. I did mine on Henry V and got an A+ on it! I credit the professor and Shakespeare in my minoring in English Literature (with a contration on British lit -- specializing in the Medieval and Renaissance eras).

I love all of my Psychology classes, but I'd have to say that my favorite so far was Psychology of Social Behavior, because we discussed everyday occurances that most people don't ever think to analyze such as helping behavior, obedience to authority, and normative social influence.
