Yes, this letter is EXTREMELY old, I think I read that letter when I was a senior in high school or a freshman in college.... and I am now a senior in college. I agree with what a lot of people have said - that the letter was staged just to cause an uproar.

But I agree - I actually worked with this white girl who told me all the time that whenever she would go out to bars with her black male friend, black women would always give her dirty looks... And I think that is a stereotype... that all black woman just hate to see a black man with a white woman.. Personally, I could care less. If that's what they want to do, fine. It's a free country. And then this same girl was constantly telling me how since she has a big butt (as far as white girl big butts go, lol) black guys are always trying to get with her. I didn't say what I wanted to say because I knew she didn't realize how stereotypical the things were that she was saying, and I don't blame her for that. I know she didn't have bad intentions.
