One more...

Don't worry about snow boots, either. Everyone else will be in the same boat as far as choosing between changing shoes, or staying in some kind of boots.

Hi Marie,

I really hope I'm not getting this back to you too late.....(been 1helluva week over here.....)

IMHO, (and *only* MHO) when someone extends the invite to bring a "beverage and appetizer" or dessert, or whatever, the safest thing to do is bring what YOU like.

You are introducing yourself to these people--what you bring is a way of sharing yourself w/ them too. And as we all know from rush experiences, your best bet is to be yourself.

(who just got back from a 4th degree KoC dinner where she brought a bottle of Black Opal cabernet and a homemade red velvet cake. <g>)

Well hey! At least they didn't say "Ohhh...I'm sorry, we don't do alumnae initiation..." :) If they gave you their calendar of events, that's great!

Besides, *somebody* has to be one of those 12 AIs per year. Why can't it be you?

Keep looking up! :)

I know that chapters and schools and all run a little differently.
But at my chapter we LOVE to have alumni initiates. We usually have like 1-3 a year and love to get them. Usually they are brothers dads who we sucker into joining, but I don’t see why they wouldn’t want someone who was pumped up about being in their house.

Swede, I am not down grading your Fraternity by any means, but you AI just for the reason that they are Dads?

I am sure taht there is a little more than that!

It is not easy for many to be come A I members.

LXA does for an outstanding individual who has worked with the Chapter, or an advisor that is a member of the school Facality. But, it still depends on the amount of effort given and dedication!

Please fill me in so I can understand what your talking about.

Thanks!

I can tell you that in the 2nd last issue of The Anchora of Delta Gamma, they did an article on TWO women who were alumnae initiates! YAY! So....just wanted to let you know that.
